TEACHING AND LEARNING METHOD FOR THE TRANSITION TO ENDEMIC PHASE EFFECTIVE 2022/2023 SESSION
(PRACTICE AT FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES)
In line with the recent academic circular UTM.J.08.01/10.12/31 (26) dated 31st July 2022, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UTM will practice the followings:
1) Postgraduate courses by RESEARCH MODE will be implemented fully online. Courses involved include:

UHLM6013 : Malay Language for Academic Writing

UHPS6013 : Dynamics of Leadership
2) Courses that require laboratory/practical/hands-on/measuring tent/studio activities are to be carried out face-to-face and physically.
3) All other courses will be implemented via blended learning (with a combination of physical/face to face and online learning).
4) All other teaching and learning implementations (including supervision, assessment, examination, ODL etc.) stated in the circular are applicable.
5) Hybrid classes (combination of online and physical/face to face learning) can be conducted for face to face sessions where some students are not able to attend physically. Nevertheless, online learning through hybrid classes is only allowed for international postgraduate students who have genuine problems coming to Malaysia for physical/face to face classes – subject to approval by the Faculty Academic Committee.
International postgraduate students who have genuine problems coming to Malaysia for physical/ face to face classes can be considered for hybrid classes (subject to faculty’s approval) – please click this link to fill in the application form by 10th of Sept 2022.
