This is the tenth year Tsukuba University is sending their trainees here under their MOU with UTM.

The main aim of this visit was to conduct Intensive English Program – Transnational Education (IEP-TNE) language assessment for the first batch of students from QU, the first UTM franchise campus abroad.

UTM Language Academy has organised a Knowledge Sharing Session regarding CEFR and English in Higher Education by Prof Zuraidah Mohd Don. The session included practical tasks in determining the language activities, proficiency levels, filling the gaps, communicative language competence and detailed descriptors in CEFR, so they can be used to improve the syllabi, materials, testing and evaluation of English subjects.
