UTM Open Day 2018 organised by UTM Student Recruitment and Admission Division (SRAD) was held on 12 August 2018 at its main campus in Skudai. Being the Malaysia’s Top University to Engineering and Technology education, UTM attracted nearly 250 students on its one day vibrant and informational event.
Open to all public, the event was specially aimed at potential students of UTM, as it was geared towards giving them the opportunity to explore various postgraduates programmes offered in UTM. This event was held in conjunction with its new 2018 semester intake.
Staff of Language Academy from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) of UTM took this opportunity to interact with potential students giving advice and guide on the application and registration process, providing information on available scholarships and also offering opportunity for students to interact with lecturers and staff. Students had the chance to visit Language Academy and other faculties and colleges to discover the best education laid for them.
