Language Academy UTM is co-organising The Johor English Language Teaching Association (Jelta) three-day English language convention at the M-Suites Hotel.
The yearly programme is aimed at empowering participants, comprising of teachers and selected secondary schools students, by giving insights on the latest English learning methods and the use of technology as tools for English classroom teachings.
450 academicians and English language practitioners are taking part in the convention, scheduled from April 10 to 12. It is among the highest participation that JELTA had so far since the programme was included in their yearly calendar activities. 20 experts in the English language field, have been invited to speak throughout the programme. The convention will continue to highlight the many practical ways of incorporating the internet and online language tools in assisting teachers in their English language lessons.
