Tuesday, April 4, 2023 – A briefing for facilitators was conducted online in preparation for the first half of the Toys for Friends (TFF) program. The program is scheduled to take place on April 7, 2023, at Idrissi International School. Ms. Atiqah and Ms. Siti Khadijah, who are both committee members and chief facilitators of TFF, led the briefing. The briefing was attended by facilitators who are also Language Academy staff.
The facilitator briefing started with an overview of the program. The committee members then briefed the facilitators with the activities that will be conducted and their roles on the day. In general, the facilitator will help students write letters to their friends using simple English sentences, and guide students’ responses during the gratitude circle activity.
The briefing ended with a question-and-answer session to address any concerns or questions the facilitator may have. All facilitators are eager to participate in the program. Hopefully this program will succeed in cultivating the nature of love and giving among students to their peers who are less fortunate.
