17 FEB – Tsukuba University Japanese language teacher trainees arrived for a three-week stint at LA FSSH last night.
They attended a briefing plus lecture on Malaysia education system and foreign language programmes.
From 17 until 22 February they will be placed at Sekolah Menegah Kebangsaan Sultan Ismail (SMK SI) to undergo their training.
From 23 February until 8 March, they will be observing and teaching UTM Japanese language students.
A cultural exchange programme is scheduled on 7 March in LA.
This is the tenth year Tsukuba University is sending their trainees here under their MOU with UTM.
