Prof. Dr. Fatin Aliah Phang is currently the Chair of School of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She is also a fellow at the Centre for Engineering Education, UTM. Her areas of specialisation include STEM Education and Environmental Education. She has published more than 100 journal papers, 20 book chapters and a few policy papers. Until today, she has led 20 research grants and involved in 70 research projects and consultations that amount to RM12million. From the 17 intellectual properties produced from the research, 7 of them were commercialised. She is one of the recipients of the Top Research Scientists Malaysia in 2019 and also other international and national awards in research and community projects such as Okayama ESD Award 2018 and RCE Global Award 2015.
