Syariah, Law and Economy (SLEC) is a research group that encompasses various areas of expertise, specifically involving legal rulings, civil and Sharia law, and economics. Among the ongoing research are the development of Islamic bioethics models, contemporary waqf (endowment), the management of inheritance, whether physical or digital assets, and many more. This group also hopes to collaborate with various parties, both domestically and internationally, to continue research on Islamic law to ensure that today’s scientific and technological developments are in line with Sharia regulations.
