initiative by the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Board to sponsor 10 highly talented\u00a0<strong>Palestinian<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>students\u00a0<\/strong>to pursue their doctoral degree at UTM.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>UTM Serambi Al-Quds Requirements<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Fulfill the UTM PhD Admission Requirements: A Masters\u2019s degree from UTM or Other institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate \u00a0<\/li><li>Fulfill the English Language Requirements :\u00a0<a support doctoral and research masters candidates to present their research findings in well-established and high impact international\/national conferences by funding the conference fees.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>UTM Young Scholars Grant Requirements<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Open to\u00a0students (both local &amp; international)\u00a0registered in PhD and Master by Research programs in UTM. However, for international students only those enrolled in doctoral programme are eligible.<\/li><li>Priority is given to an applicant in semester 1-6 for PhD and semester 1-3 for Master by Research candidate.<\/li><li>Application should be filed in advance at least\u00a0two (2) months priorthe date of the conference. These documents are required for the application:<\/li><\/ul><p>a) Details of the conference with your name as presenter (e.g: proceeding, concurrent schedule);<\/p><p>b) Offer\/Invitation letter from organizer;<\/p><p>c) Abstract of paper presentation;<\/p><p>d) Quotation of the registration fees;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e5485f5 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"e5485f5\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4fe5fb0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4fe5fb0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>Only approved applications, will qualify to claim for the grant.<\/li><li>Applicant\u00a0must be invited as an oral presenter and present at the conference. Applicant must be the first student author of the paper, which must cover original, ongoing research and directly related to the applicant thesis topic.<\/li><li>Applicant must\u00a0not receiveany full scholarship (tuition fees and monthly allowance) during the application submission.<\/li><li>Applicant can only be awarded with this financial assistance\u00a0ONCE throughout the study.<\/li><li>Please take note that an applicant\u2019s funding will be cancelled upon submission of thesis for viva voce.<\/li><li>Only attendance to conference organized by registered association\/university\/research institute\/academic organization\/government agency (preferably indexed conference) will be considered for financial support. The scholarship is awarded on yearly basis where each student will be assessed based on his\/her academic performance before an extension to the subsequent year is granted.<\/p><p>UTM Zamalah covers tuition fees \u00a0and monthly allowance ranging from RM1,500.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>UTM Zamalah Scholarships Requirements<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Open to student in 1st until 3rd Semester<\/li><li>Applicants must be of Malaysian nationality<\/li><li>Open to full-time PhD student<\/li><li>Not under any employment or receiving any form of financial aid from other
