Welcome to POCE 2024: Shaping the Future of Education: Sustainability and Innovation

The School of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is delighted to announce the Postgraduate Conference in Education 2024 (POCE 2024). This event aims to bring together postgraduate students, researchers, educators, and practitioners to share their research findings, exchange ideas, and explore innovative approaches to shape the future of education through sustainability and innovation.

With the theme “Shaping the Future of Education: Sustainability and Innovation”,  POCE 2024 hopes to facilitate meaningful discussions on the emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field of education. The conference will focus on the following sub-themes:

• Artificial Intelligence
  • Exploring the integration of AI technologies in education, including personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, and AI-assisted administrative tasks.
• Digital Learning
  • Examining innovative online and blended learning approaches, digital tools, and platforms that enhance the educational experience and accessibility.
• New Framework in Teaching & Learning
  • Investigating emerging pedagogical models, instructional strategies, and curriculum designs that address the evolving needs of learners in the 21st century.
• Learning Assessment
  • Discussing the methods of evaluating student progress, including formative assessments, competency-based assessments, and the use of data analytics to inform instruction.
• Quality Education and Community Well-being
  • Analyzing the role of education in promoting social, emotional, and physical well-being, as well as its impact on community development and sustainability.
• Strategic Collaboration in Education
  • Exploring partnerships between educational institutions, industries, and communities to enhance learning experiences, research, and innovation.
• Institutional Ecosystem, Governance and Education Policy
  • Examining the organizational structures, leadership approaches, policy frameworks, and management strategies that support sustainable and innovative educational practices.

The conference will feature thought-provoking keynote speeches by renowned experts, parallel sessions for paper presentations, and networking opportunities. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be made available to participants.
