This evening the Language Academy has organised a buka puasa (the break of fast) or Iftar, as how it is also known, for about 105 staff and family members. An event which is organised every Ramadan sees the gathering of friends and families so that they can have a meal together. The event began with the Khatam Al-Quran or the recitation of the Al-Quran and break fasting at 7:12 p.m. Some came with potlucks to give varieties to the main course of rice and chicken. Ustaz Panji Alam Mazhisham from Pusat Islam, UTM delivered a talk just before the break of fast on the various kinds of activities to bring one closer to God<\/span><\/p>\n
