UTM won silver at the 11 Annual Japanese Language Festival 2017 (JLFest) for university students. This year JLFest was held from 29-30 April in KL (Bukit Jalil). The UTM team was represented by Chen Chee Hong and Joyce Wee from the Faculty of Education, and Winnie Ho from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, who participated in the Student Informative Poster Presentation category with their poster entitled \u2018The Secrets of Kansai Airport\u2019. The team was coached by Mr. Kumaraguru and Mr. Loh Khai Xian from the Language Academy. We are proud of their achievements and congratulations to all winners. Currently, the Language Academy offers Japanese language as an elective subject. This is the first time UTM has participated in a national level Japanese language competition.<\/p>\n
