In this programme, participants will be guaranteed a buddy—a UTM student from Malaysia—to learn with!
Certified and Ready to Help
Summer school buddies have achieved at least a MUET Band 4 certification, demonstrating their good proficiency in English and their ability to assist participants.
Trained to Support Participants
Summer school buddies must undergo an intensive interview process before being selected for the programme. Once selected, they will need to attend a one-day training session. The training equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide the best support to participants.
Provide Support Around the Clock!
Summer school buddies are available throughout the program. Whether participants need help with language practice or just want to chat, they are there to support them!

Our buddies, UTM students trained in engineering, architecture, management, psychology, and teaching, hail from diverse ethnic backgrounds across Malaysia.
