Master of Education (Technical And Vocational Education)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is especially dedicated to giving all students, regardless of location or geographic restrictions, flexible learning possibilities. This is the first Master of Education (TVE) programme of its kind to be offered anywhere in the world. We are welcomed undergraduate students, TVET educators and practitioners who ambitious to gain knowledge, without having to think about the distance factor from the university. Anytime, anywhere.<\/p>\n

MHPV-ODL will be implemented both synchronously and asynchronously using a UTM-provided online system. The ODL delivery model used by UTM also enables synchronous, real-time, face-to-face interactions between students over the internet.<\/p>\n

Immersive learning based on experience is created by incorporating transformative learning and teaching methodologies (PdP) based on 21st Century delivery through future learning spaces and the utilisation of cutting-edge digital technology. Among the techniques used are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Using UTM’s Open and Distance Learning system’s totally online instruction and testing<\/li>\n
  • The usage of social media platforms like Webex, Google Meet, Facebook Group, Youtube, Padlet, Jamboard, and many others that are appropriate for educational purposes.<\/li>\n
  • Learning based on peeragogy, heutagogy and cybergogy approaches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Program Entry Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1. Candidates from the Bachelor’s level must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a CGPA\/CGPA of at least 2.50. <\/span><\/li>\n
            2. Candidates with a CGPA\/CGPA of less than 2.50 and at least 2.00, working experience of at least five (5) years will be taken into account.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Entry Requirement for International Student:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              1. A minimum score of 550 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (or TOEFL (IBT) > 60), or<\/span><\/li>\n
              2. An overall band score of 6 in International English Language Test System (IELTS) Academic<\/span><\/li>\n
              3. Candidates who are originated or had completed their degree program from the countries with English as native language are exempted from UTM English Requirement.<\/span><\/li>\n
              4. Candidates are required to take Malaysian University English Test (MUET) if they do not satisfy above criteria. If fail, the candidates would need to enrol to Intensive English Program and pass before their enrolment are accepted <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Malaysian citizens candidates who have an APEL T7 certificate can be considered for the purpose of admission (subject to faculty approval).<\/strong><\/p>\n
